The hitch height shouldn't go up that much - should only be around 21. If your hitch height is 21 or more now, that could be part of your scraping problem. Another thing you can do if the driveway is too steep is release the bars on the equalizer before you go in or out.

When measured at the tongue of my 2720, the tongue is too low by about an inch. This results in the rear being about a half inch high when compared to level.

I have never scraped any part of the trailer. I also have the lift kit.

The trailer should be level when towing. There is some dispute as to which is better if you can not achieve level. Some people say high is better and others say low is better. Mos manufacturers will not state, other than level is best.

How would a perfectly level 21" original hitch height be part of my scraping problem? I can angle it into my driveway as is and not scrape, but its just easier to pull straight in and out. Also I travel into some pretty remote places to dry camp and the lift will only help this situation. Fairly cheap option for the benefits in my opinion.

anyone know what the ground clearance is? with 14" tires?
