Default slideout dinette

Can anybody please tell me if the slideout dinette that comes with many of the models requires you to remove the table before folding down, or does it just fit around the table like it does in my current 3023?

If I understand your question, you can leave the table up when folding the camper. If you do, though, you lose some of the floor space for storage while in-transit. I wouldn't put anything on the floor under the table, as it may shift and push the support leg, possibly pulling the mounting screws out of the table.

Other than that, it can stay set-up while traveling.

Oh sorry for not being too clear.... what I meant to ask was when you are making the sliding dinette into the bed, does it open up into a bed WITHOUT having to remove the folded table and put the table somewhere else to get the table out of the way, or does the dinette bed have room to open in front of the table? My current TM dinette has arms on the couches, so when the bed is opened up it has room to open in front of the folded table.

I just hope the dinette opening into a bed allows the folded table to remain there !

Thanks.

The table drops to a lower level (even with the seats) and the cushions are all laid flat to create the "mattress". Very elegant solution really and only takes a few minutes.
