Default Replacing the Atwood Tongue Jack, What Fits?

2005 3326 king. I need to replace the Tongue jack and everyone I find is outer tube 2-1/4" inner tube 2". The bottom hole in the A-frame is 2" so all the jacks I have found are too big to fit in that bottom hole.
Any experiences with replacing these jacks?

I just replaced the Atwood electric jack on my 2006 2619. I used a "Stromberg Carlson" 3500 lb jack from Camping World. It bolted right on, the only recommendation is that if you have a swing hitch, run a dedicated ground wire. I had a problem of intermittent operation with out the dedicated ground wire even though the swing hitch is technically grounded through the hinge and pins.

The lower hole in my Trailmanor is 2" the Tongue jack you installed has a
Outer tube diameter: 2-3/16" so someone must have drilled out your lower hole to at least 2-3/16"

That is interesting. I would call Trailmanor and ask them if they have a solution for you. I realize the current factory did not build your trailer or mine
, but they have been very responsive to any of the questions I have had on parts compatibility.

This is supposed to fit your needs, but you could call and check with the seller/manufacturer.

$220 is not what I was looking for. I am not replacing a power jack, I am replacing a sidewind Atwood 1000 lb manual jack

I am going to try using a 2" hole saw inside a 2-1/4" hole saw, so the 2" hole saw will guide the the 2-1/4" saw to make the hole 2-1/4", so any jack should work in the future.

Mine was replaced by Trailmanor (South Dakota factory) a few weeks back. They enlarged the lower hole on the frame.

Well I used the 2 hole saw method this morning and it took maybe a minute and a half.
It might take me awhile to separate the two hole saws though (I used another mandrel and the 2 hole saws were separated easily)
This was a swing tongue, so I took it completely off and laid it upside down on the lawn.
It would work just as well on a regular tongue except you would be on the ground drilling up.

Does anyone know if there has since been an after-market leveling jack that will fit a 2003 2720?

I have a Trailer Valet x5 attached to the side of the frame, does anyone know if that would be safe to use as temporary jack while I wait however long to replace the original jack?

If I understand, you need to replace the original crank-up / crank-down tongue jack. Manual tongue jacks are pretty much a standard item, and you will find them at any RV supply store - or better, at one of the on-line stores such as etrailer.com, pplmotorhomes.com, dyersonline.com or (of course) amazon.com. As reflected in the posts above, you need to be sure that the one you buy is the same style (side crank vs top crank), has the same size tube, and has the three mounting bolts in the same location.

As for leaving the trailer on a side-mounted temporary jack of any kind, I would lower the front stabilizers to the ground, then crank them down an extra turn or two to take some of the weight off the jack - but more important, to ensure that the whole tongue doesn't move sideways and drop to the ground if (for example) somebody pushes the trailer sideways. Lots of lawsuits happen when a trailer unexpectedly moves and hurts someone.

Hope this helps.
