Default Shower Leak Below Faucet Handles

Hello! I have a leaky shower faucet. When I turn on the shower, water drips down below the faucet from under the plastic casing.

So...I removed the hose going to the shower head and took the handles/faucet apart to examine the cause. I found some sandy debris in the hose to the shower head and removed the blockage. I added plumbers tape and tightened the shower head(which also had a leak). That resolved the shower head leaky issue. I added plumbers tape to the end of the hose and reconnected it to the faucet. When I tightened the hose to the faucet, it reached a point where it just clicks past the threading so it doesn't seem to tighten well. Put everything back together and the leak is only worse coming from below the faucet.

Ideas?

Do I need to replace the black part inside the faucet that connects to the hose? If so, does that all come as part of the faucet part when ordering a replacement?

Found the problem! The black part of faucet is cracked.
What part do I need to fix this?

I've not done it, but I would be surprised if you can buy just the cracked part. Most likely you need to replace the entire faucet. Assuming there is no manufacturer name on the thing, you just need to look around and find something that will fit. It should be easy.

The distance between the handles is standard, and will help you identify which new one will fit the need. Just buy the same configuration - two knobs, hose outlet above, tub outlet below (or not, depending on what you have), etc.

Check the various RV parts sites to see if you can find what you want.

Some of them are
pplmotorhomes.com
dyersonline.com
etrailer.com

Or go to a local RV service place.
