Although the Taskmaster and Provider are both from eTrailer (may be one in the same), I don't really know if there is a difference. I'll probably have to call them when I'm ready. Their website shows the Provider as LR D, not C. Agree, on importance of balancing. My question is, will the trailer experience more shake and bounce going from 50 psi to 65 psi -or- will the axle compensate?

Now only time and travel will tell how good they are. They seem nice and I like the tread pattern. Looks like it would be a good tire for rainy weather too. Which is good as I am going to the midwest this coming spring , ya know those April showers.

Craigrrr - It appears from the lack of forum response to my question that you have the only TM that changed from Marathon LR C tires to Taskmaster Load range D ST215/75/R14 tires. I know you have a larger TM 2720 than my TM 2417. I always inflate to maximum pressure to minimize sidewall heat build up.

My question is, did your trailer experience more shake and bounce going from 50 psi to 65 psi tire -or- did the axle compensate for the higher pressure tire?

Mine going to the 65 psi 205s did not experience any more shake than before. They were both dynamically (spin) balanced on installation.

How about when you were outside of the camper? ...there seems to be no lack of loose screws here though ....
Tom ...who has heard too much from some loose screws on this forum!!

I have the taskmasters in my 2417. No issues with running them at 65psi with bouncing or shaking

I just had these Taskmaster tires put on my 2720 last week. We used Camping World--no other tire shops would do the other work I wanted done to it. I went by there yesterday just to see if I could take a look before actually towing it back to storage. Luckily they had it parked where I could get to it. I'm a little worried. It LOOKS like the tires are underinflated. So I called today and had one of the service guys go check it out. Missed his call back, but he left a message stating that he checked them and that they were inflated to 63psi, so it was ready to go. I'm pretty sure my old tires didn't look this way. When I looked at other campers parked nearby, their tires didn't look this way. Why would they look underinflated? Even my daughter noticed. We are planning on picking it up tomorrow--since it's "ready to go". Should I press the issue with them?

Can you check the pressure yourself?

Or ask a handy person to assist?

Yes, my husband and I will do that. I guess my question was more in the case that the tires are indeed inflated to 63-65 psi. I'm curious if other factors could affect the appearance of the tire--such as parking surface??? Or if anyone else has experienced this?? Thanks.

Sometimes a tire parked on an incline with the weight exerting pressure in an odd way can make a perfectly inflated tire look odd. Just use a gauge check when cold before leaving.
