Default Rear ended: Need bumper repairs on 2008 2720.

Recently my 2008, 2720 was rear ended while I was at a stoplight.

The damage is only in the bumper area. The shell was not damaged. The plastic bumper, sheet metal storage tray and steel bar across the two frame ends must be replaced.

Does anyone know of a good repair shop which repairs trailmanors? The unit is driveable and I would be willing to drive a long distance to have quality repairs made. I am in Pennsylvania. Does the factory in South Dakota do this type of repair.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure the factory would do this repair for you. Send an e-mail to [email protected]. She may take a few days to respond, but she's always come through for me. She just helped me get 2 torsion bars and sent them halfway across the continent.

Where in PA are you? There are a couple former TM dealers in Ohio, and MCD RV in Cape Cod, MA is kinda considered the best place for TM service on the East Coast. I’m sure any of them could install replacement parts for you. In fact if you ordered the parts from TM in South Dakota you could probably do it yourself.

Since it only parts that need to be replaced and the box shell is okay. I would think just about any good RV shop could do the repair. They would just need to order the parts from TM. I would have them contact Sonja in the parts department to order the parts.

Sonja has always been great help when I have ordered parts.
