Default Anyone name their TM?

Hi,

I'm a brand new-to-me TM. My 11 y.o. and I are thinking about giving our TM a nickname. Anyone name their TM? I'm thinking Timmy or something like that.

Naming car's and RV's goes way back for us. Our Current family is the following.

1. Saturn Outlook-Paint color is White Dimond (Liz Taylor's perfume) so she is named Liz.

2. 24 Elkmont is named Richard (Ms Taylors ex was Richard Burton) and the Elkmont follows along behind the Outlook just as Richard did to Liz.

3. We have a Prius at home which we call Eddy Fisher because the car is short and small and Mr. Fisher was also short and small. And he to followed behind Liz also.

Please I hope your all laughing.

JAW,

Yup. I got quite a chuckle of of your thread. Glad to hear that it's not as crazy (naming a vehicle) as it sounds. I'm thinking I'll call my new-to-me TM a female name, like they do for ships. Maybe Tammy?

My 17yr. old calls our the "Rotmanor", but I don't think that's a name I'd want to use.

Yes, we named ours Northwoods. My husband was the consulting city engineer to a city by that name, and his additional income that year helped us pay for the then new 2004 3023. We really do enjoy it. Will be in Estes park for the first week of September, and can hardly wait. Olga and Ken, Northwoods

Default Turtle . . .

The TM is called " turtle " for short, because . . .

1. Strangers only know for sure what it is " when it comes out of its shell "

2. That is how I drive when I tow it.

Its full name is Go C Turtle. Because that is what we are doing with it.

Going to see someplace we want to be...

All of our other vehicles have names too. Every one.

Kinda weird but it it easier to use a nick name that saying Yamaha FJR 1300.

( Cat Bike - because of the way the headlights look )

See what I mean...
