We towed our TM back from TX, 1100 miles, and got away without the WDH. As soon as we got back the old Reese WDH came out of the shed and I set it up. For us a WDH is the only way to go. No slightly light front end, 60% of your breaking is the front, no head lights pointing at the sky and we travel with dry water/holding tanks so that off sets the ~1/3 tongue the WDH puts on the TM axle.
