Default Suspension Lift for off road use

We're thinking of upgrading from a popup to a trailmanor, but like to camp well away from civilization. Will a 2720 be OK on forest roads, easy Jeep trails, etc? Nothing too crazy, but definitely nowhere you'd take a car. It will be towed with a tundra with the big V8. Plus it would all be at altitude (Colorado).

The answer is "yes", many of the owners on this forum take their rigs off-road. Many have put lift kits on their trailers, up to six inches. The way that the shells close, there is more chance of getting dust in side the unit, but there are a variety of ways to reduce the amount you get from dusty roads, such as masking tape around the shells.

There use to be a member of this forum called "popbeavers", that almost always traveled the back country with his rig, if you will research his threads you will read about his experiences doing exactly what your wanting to do.
