Akuret Super Cargo Radial Tires

I am trying to decide on new tires for our 3124KS which has 5 year old Goodyears, prior to our trip to NY in June. One dealer has recommended the Akuret in a ST225 75r15 8pl, Has anyone had experience or knowledge of this brand? My search only tells me they are considered private brand tires made on the same assembly as major brands, but are like most trailer tires still made in China. Maxxis is currently my first choise but are being difficult to get - all dealer tell me they are on back order or they cannot verify the manufactures date prior to purchase. Any help would be very appriciated. Thanks
