Default General discussion

We will be driving our Honda Pilot next week to pick up our 2004 2619 TM.
We will meet the owners of the TM in New Mexico.
We plan to tow our newly purchased 2619 back to Salem, Oregon. We would like to avoid the extreme high passes. We do plan to camp in our TM on the
return trip. Any ideas on the best route to take would be appreciated.
Thanks, Carole

We make that trip a lot going to Albuquerque from Spokane, WA. From Albuquerque we head to Bernalillo about 10 miles north and then to Farmington & Aztec and on up to Moab, UT. Then to Price over to Spanish Fork, through Salt Lake and up to Boise. The highest pass is around La Grande, OR and it's not too bad. From there it's an easy ride down the Colombia gorge on I-84 to Portland take the by-pass and on to Salem. Our daughter lives in Jefferson, so we travel that part pretty regularly, too. Right at Tualatin there's a wholesale RV store https://www.rvpartsoutlet.com/newstore/nojava/index.cfm where you can pick up RV stuff really cheap - (new stinky slinky?) about one mile from where the bypass meets I-5. Have fun!

Don't miss the Tualatin Estate Winery. They serve up some very fine Pinot Noir!!!! Should make the rest of the trip memorable. Ain't cheap, but oh-so good:
