Exclamation I am stunned. can anyone help fix this issue caused by the Manufacturer?

So I ordered a new dinnete set of cushions. It was super expensive and shipping was 1/3 the cost... is what it is. However the set arrive and they just folded all of my dinnete cushions in two causing severe creases and bending of the cushions.

I unpacked everything and layed them out on my floor where they have been for several days now. TM tells me the creases will work themselves out. But its been three days and they are the same so getting a bit nervouse.

When I asked TM for assistance on how to get the creases out they told me to use my hands and massage the cushions. Yeah that did nothing and completely unhelpful.

Wondering if anyone had this expierience befor and if so what you did to get the creases and dents out of the fabric?

Please advise.

Flip them over so the weight of the cushion is pushing down in the middle. You could also try a hand steamer to get any wrinkles/creases out of the covers.

You'd better call the manufacturer before using steam.

Foam rubber has a memory. It takes a day or two for it to expand fully. They should have sent instructions with the cushions.

What temperatures have they been exposed to since they've been delivered? It's been hot in some parts of the country recently, and so they might have been exposed to some extreme heat, especially inside of a closed up metal trailer, for several days. So if now they're being stored at, say, 68 degrees F, maybe putting them out in the sun for a few days will help.

Just a thought.

The only thing I know for sure is that they were exposed to being folded and crushed in the way they were shipped. However I thought the same as you so they have been laying on my LR floor that gets sunlight in about 4‐5 hours during the day which has helped a little.

I would take the foam out of the covers. Some foams have a kind of grippy-ness against snug fitted fabrics so the covers could be preventing the foam from returning to their natural shape. Then you can put the covers back on.
