Default Fresh water tank drained with the grey tank

I had the fresh water tank filled to capacity. The water was at the very top. It's located under the sink on my 2002 2720SL. When I opened the grey water valve out side the trailer, the grey water drained and then the fresh water tank drained. This is the first time this has occurred.
Before, the fresh water tank was 3/4 full at most and never drained. Any ideas about this?
I haven't been able to look at it as my back muscles have cramped up and it's very hard to get around right now.

I can't wait to hear other opinions! I don't think it is possible and suspect a leak or something, trying to figure how it could be related.

There is a rear drain faucet not far from the sewer connections, and you bumped into it.

Under no circumstances should there be any sort of connection between fresh and gray water, for obvious health reasons.

Idea. The water pump was switched on. And a faucet, either in the bathroom or the kitchen sink, was open/on.

Anything?

There is no direct connection between the fresh water tank and the gray tank, so it has to be something like this.

Should have seen that if bumped, but I agree no way without a leak or open drain valve. Battery pump switch would need to be on too.

Thanks for all of the feed back. These are great ideas to check out. It has to be one of them, because as was said there is no connection between the two tanks. Another fact was that the fresh water went down the drain pipe connected to the camps sewer. It did not dump on the ground.

You should have heard your pump, mine I hear every time it pumps and emptying a full tank didn't happen in a minute or two.

I found the problem. It was between the fresh water tank and my brain. I had the tank so full that I couldn't see any air bubbles or the top of the water level. This has been corrected and I'm getting new eye glasses and a brain. Thanks to everyone for wasting their time on an old timer.

Chay -

I love that kind of problem! It lets us all show how smart we are, without the danger of actually being tested.

More seriously, thanks for reporting back. All too often, a problem is reported, many of us work on a solution, but the OP never reports the outcome, and we are all left wondering.
