Default Extension bar in bed area??

Hi. Can anyone tell me what this extension bar is? I attached 2 pics. It clips or stores just above the bed on the far wall as in the first pic. And I included a pic of the bar by itself in the second pic? It looks as though it came originally with the trailer but maybe not? I Just can't figure out where it clips onto or why? thanks

The bar is used to support the center area of the opened Fiamma awning.

Interesting, my rig did not come with that piece. Is it for the 2720 and larger TM's? Not that I need it, I rarely use my awning.

Kidkraz,

I believe that is an optional item and still available from Fiamma.

Just a tip. Try not to wind the awning all the way out. I leave about 1 1/2 winds on the drum. It takes stress off the end of the fabric.

After putting your rafter in place, roll your awning out a few inches to tighten it all up. Avoids sagging and flapping.
