You put the two locks in on the edge of the bed and you have the outside two square tubes with the hole that latches onto the pins on the front shell latched?

How tight are the two square tube that have the hole that hatches to the pins on the outside? Do the have much play fwd/aft?

The door (dutch door). When you look at you door. How aligned are the side edges of the upper and lower door?

Pictures 2 and 3 are just close ups of the gap. The bed is slid out as far as it will go. There is no flap that covers this. There are flaps on each side but nothing for the front....should there be a flap covering the front? The door is fine and this is the only issue I have.

I haven't owned a TM very long but if I remember correctly that gap is sealed off by a flat, white rubber seal that is attacted along the width of the bottom on the front shell. The pic here shows that seal when the shells are closed (my hand is reaching in from the front hitch area). Possibly someone with a TM opened up can verify this seal does in fact close the gap you are concerned about.

That seal is not normally pulled down like that. Here's a pic before I pulled it down.
