Colorado Springs Area or West of Denver

Thank you all for the suggestions. Checked out Bishops Castle and sounds like something I would like to see. The area also sounds like something we would like.

If memory serves the Lake Isabel Recreation Area does have electric sites, but there is only one water hydrant to a loop. This was the first place I used my "water stealer" and the campground host lent me a hose to help it reach.

It is a wonderful campground, and the area is beautiful. One of my favorites in Colorado.

If you enjoy hiking, even short distances, there is a trailhead at the rear of the San Isabel campgroung. The Cisneros trail if I remember correctly.
