We chose to stay here because it was correctly predicted to rain for days and we didn't want to deal with two big muddy dogs. This is the perfect place for that. The entire property is either asphalt, concrete or rock. Seriously, not a blade of grass . . . Under the same circumstances, we would come back without hesitation. However, this really isn't our style normally.
The entire park is absolutely spotless. Everyone is very nice and helpful. You could throw a rock and hit the Safeway. WalMart is less than a mile away. If you need a convenient place to stay for a base camp to see the area, this is one to consider.
The train is a little more of an issue than I originally thought, but is far less annoying than the heater.
