Default low water pressure

I have lost pressure in my water system.

Last winter, we had a freeze before I winterized. Thankfully, I didn't find any leaks, but the pump didn't work.

I got the Shurflo head replacement kit, and installed it. Pretty easy except for working in the narrow space above the fresh water tank.

Everything seemed to work fine in the driveway. I drove to a campsite hours away, and then I had little water pressure.

I still don't see any leaks, the pump sounds normal.

Any ideas? Did I not give everything sealed and something bounced apart on the drive? Am I sucking in air somewhere?

Easy questions first:

- Is the water heater full? If you're running on just the pump, it will take several minutes before you've filled the water heater enough to have the system at full pressure.

- Have you checked for leaks, especially in the area you just worked on?

- Are there open drain valves under the TM or open faucets anywhere?

Does the pump ever cycle off?

We had a similar problem many years ago in our motorhome. The anode rod in the water heater had crumbled into a fine sand-like substance, which proceeded to partially clog the screens on the faucets. After all was cleaned out it worked fine. I now change the anode rod yearly, whether it needs it or not! Also, you didn't mention if you have the same problem when connected to city water or if it is specific to the water pump. Might change our thinking...

Well Thanks Scott O!

I finally had a few daylight hours to set up and try a few things.

I didn't have an anode issue, but i did have a blockage problem. I took apart the faucets and shower and found calcium chunks on the screens. I cleaned them off and everything works great!
