Thanks for any input,

Default Recommend upgrading to dual 6 volt golf cart batteries

The problem with the standard Group 27 RV/Marine battery on the TM is it is not a true deep cycle battery. Rather it's a marine engine starting battery with slightly heavier duty plates than a typical auto starting battery. Because it's not a true deep cycle battery, you will greatly shorten its life if you discharge it much below about 35% to 40% charge level....meaning that it can produce only about 60 usable amp hours.

The best solution is to get a somewhat bigger battery box and put dual Trojan T-105 6 Volt Golf Cart batteries (hooked in series) in your TM. These are true deep cycle, heavy duty plate batteries that can be repeatedly discharged to around a 15% to 20% charge level...meaning that you can get about 160 usable amp-hours. IOW, you will more almost triple the number of usable amp-hours with only about a 60 lb increase in battery weight.
