first weekend in the trailmanor
well fellas I had my first weekend of staying in the trailmanor. and everyone who seen it was impressed. I arrived at colonel denning state park which is a short drive from my house about a half hour. got there around 4 after buying grub and setting up we relaxed. two buddies showed up that was spending the weekend. ate some good grub. did foil babies on friday night with marinated grilled bell peppers and jalapenoes. one thing I noticed was everyone at the campground never really came out of their campers. very few were spending the day at the lake or hiking. seemed to be very few kids also. ten years ago we used to come to this campground every weekend during the summer and it seemed that everyone was out doing stuff. now they were just watching tv in their campers. maybe I missed something along the way when ya go campin get out and enjoy nature. don't get me wrong havein a refrigerator and a shower along with a small tv to get ya through is nice. the tv really only came on sat night at around 10:30 at night when everyone else pretty much turned in at the campground. both my buddies said that it was the coolest camper they have ever seen. heading back out this weekend actually heading out thurs morn at 5 with a eta at destination around 9:30. one more thing I have towed a couple different campers in my day but this thing was one of the nicest towing ones I have drug down a road. I have towed popups that towed worse then this trail manor did and plenty of room for three people in this camper.
