Default Just bought a 2008 2720SL

and will be picking it up this Friday from a dealer in Albany, NY. This one is in excellent shape and feel I got a great deal. I posted last year about a 2005 2619 available for $6900 but I didn't buy it as things did not feel right with it. It is still there if anyone is looking but I think it's in pretty rough shape. If I had to guess, it spent time on a Florida beach as there's a sticker on it from a Florida campground.

I added pictures of my 2720SL to an album under my profile but I don't know how to link to it. I have read most of the posts on this site and I thank everyone for the information. My biggest challenge is getting the wife interested as she has never camped so I have to do all I can to make our first time enjoyable.

I have camped all of my life so I might not be the best one to give advice but I'll try. You're probably correct in thinking that the first time out is not the time to mess up ;-)

So, I'd advise complete hookups, easy, planned ahead meals and make sure you take her somewhere SHE will enjoy.

Camping or not . . . Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. Good luck with that

Default Does anyone know what this is on the roof of our TM?

There are wires going to it with a glowing red light in the middle. The dealer thought it might be a solar trickle charger but it looks too small.

It is the amplified radio antenna.

I believe that little device on the back of your front shell is the antenna for your radio, which I think I can barely see in one of your interior photos (the radio is optional on TMs as I recall). Not sure about the glowing light, mine doesn't have that but the radio does work well (a Sony w/CD player was installed in mine already when purchased). If I'm wrong someone here will surely tell us both.

That would indeed be a tiny solar trickle charger!! Those dealers, what a bunch of jokers!

Looks like a nice unit though and I hope you have a lot of fun with it! Wish I had your wood floors, taking out my carpet to replace with something like yours is on my list for this summer.

I am looking at this same trailer for $18,500. What did you pay for your 2008?
