Default New bathroom faucet

Just replaced the bathroom faucet, the old one was leaking at the aerator connection and running down into the cabinet below.

What a PITA!

I needed that cartoon action hero character that has the skinny rubber arms, because there is not much room under there for human arms and hands.

I had to loosen the sink to get to the faucet connections. Putting the little screws and plastic tabs back in to secure the sink gave me plenty of time to practice alternative vocabulary phrases.

Lowes sells one faucet without the pop up arm (their words) to control a sink stopper. $18.50 with clear plastic hot and cold knobs. Not a bad look.

My back hurts. I will be drinking heavily now...

Be thankful it wasn't the kitchen faucet. When I had to repair a break in the cold water line at the faucet I had to pull the sink. Getting the hold downs off and back on for the sink was tedious and required a contortionist.

I made it worth my while though added a newer faucet, pump dampening, the "fresh water bridge", and an accumulator. Took several days to get it all done and back together. Yes, drinks were in order every day after work.

Hope to never have another problem under there.

My bathroom sink faucet started dripping too. And one of the handles had lost the set screw and was loose. So I replaced the whole unit with one from Lowes. Was a simple plug-n-play. No issues.

I replaced my bathroom with this faucet. I was helping a friend shopping at Ikea and it was cheap and well made. I hate two handled faucets. I used only the left hole.

What did you do with the right hole?

I left it open, been very lazy on covering it. I've thought about getting one of those metal covers.
