Hey, new to this site. This looked like the most likely place to post a new member introduction. I just bought at 2000 model. I've had a pop-up camping trailer for years and saw one of these at a campsite in Solvang, CA over New Years and did a Google search and found one for sale in my city, when and checked it out and bought it. $8,200 Has A/C, TV antenna, spare tire and mount and I guess the usual assortment of extras. The Bill of Sale from the original owner said he paid $23K and change. I like it. Here are a few pics of my old camper and the new pad. Hope to learn a little more about them and mods that make sense. The PO took really good care of it, but I can see a few maintenance items like cleaning the gunk out of the screw leveling jacks and regreasing them, a few drops of oil on a few moving parts, etc. Anyway, glad I found this site.

Welcome Aboard!!

You guys certainly move quickly. It's not unusual to spend months and months looking for a used TrailManor. Good for you.

So which model did you get - ie: 2619, 2720, etc? I'm betting you can't wait to take it on the first camping expedition. For some reason your attached pictures didn't seem to work. Could be that trial members can't post pictures (???).

Anyway, glad you found this forum, it's a great place to find information about this unique type of camper. The $12/year membership fee is well worth the 'price of admission'

Welcome! You may hold the record for seeing a TM, deciding to buy one, and finding a decent used one to buy in the shortest amount of time. I can't see your pictures either. As Leslie & Nick said, maybe you have to be a full member. There's info here on how to join:

Welcome to the forum and to our happy family of TM owners. As others have speculated, I suspect that your 'trial member' status is restricting your access. Joining this forum was the best investment we made toward successful use of our TM! You will probably see a chart at the bottom left of any page you are on telling what your access rights are, this should explain it all. Anyhow, if you are at all like many of us the questions about TMs will just start flowing. This is the place to get answers.

I think I was able to post pics when I was a trial member but I may be wrong. Don't you have full access in the first 30 days?

I would also like to point out that there is a West Coast TM rally in Petaluma in the Spring. This will be our third. There will also be a second rally next year in the fall in Pismo Beach, which would appear to be much closer to you.

The first two Petaluma TM rallys had 31 and 26 TMs as I recall. The last count for the September 2010 rally in Pismo is 11 or 12. Both would be an excellent opportunity to meet fellow TM owner's.

I would also like to put in a plug for the fine folks at Custom RV in Anaheim. They attended the October 2009 rally in Petaluma and impressed many of us. I was impressed enough that I took our TM to them a few weeks ago for some repair work and they did an excellent job.

Trying to load the pics again. Thanks all, its a 2720. For $12/year, that seems like a deal. I'm going on a trip today for two weeks (London) for a movie that I'm working on. I'll look into joining when I return. I loaded these as URLs from a car club that I post to.

That's a great looking camper, you got there Hugh. It appears to be a 2720SL.

Welcome to the forum.
