Default Retaining Strip - Lower Edge of Shells

I own a 2002 2702SL. This year I have noticed that the retaining strip, running along the lower edge of the front shell and which holds the vinyl flaps in place, is buckling between every screw. Hopefully the pictures will explain better what I am describing. Has anyone encountered this problem and if so any good solutions?

That looks like expansion from heat. Are you in a hot climate?

Uhm - hadn't thought about that. I will have to check when the weather cools here in the upper midwest.

I live in Denver and have the same issue. Several of those plastic retaining strips have buckled and cracked. Some to the point that my vinyl is coming loose and starting to jam the roof shells when closing. I was just now looking on the forum for partial solutions.

As far as heat, I am not sure. my TM is always gararaged and I only camp in the mountains where it doesn't get hot. Seems to me like they are getting stressed from the shell pulling on them whil I have it up. my guess,.
