Default How to raise the TM

I know this has been talked about before - but I can't seem to find it. It is vary hard for me to lift the front end without help from my wife. On the door side I have a solar panal which adds to the weight I'm sure. But the real question is ---are there any known problems if I lower the front a number of turns to help in lifting the front and then bring it back to level before lifting the rear?

Thanks
John

Someone has mentioned that they lower the front of the TM to make it easier to lift the shell open.

Alternatively, the torsion bar suspension can probably b adjusted. This would be necessary if you added the solar panels, for example. If the panels were factory installed or added by the dealer then they should have adjusted the torsion bars to compensate for the extra weight on the roof.

My front shell is also pretty difficult to open -- it's a bit heavy. I took it to our local dealer to adjust the torsion bars, and they were clueless. I tried doing it myself, and it didn't seem to make any difference.
