Default Slide outs and WDH

I can see almost no way to mount any WDH/sway control hitch on a slide out model as there appears to be an additional slide out support mounted on the frame where most WDH/sway control hitches would mount. How do we get around that? Does this issue exist in the 2015 models? My dealer prefers the Blue Ox and it needs to mount 29 inches behind the ball. I spotted this issue in this video around the 3 minute point.

Our 3326 had a Reese system, but the same clearance needed for the propane tanks easily accommodated the WDH assemblies. Unless the Blue Ox system sticks up higher than the propane tanks it shouldn't be an issue. I didn't look, but there should be spec drawings out there.

The blue ox appears to hardly stick up at all. My concern is that the support for the slide out that mounts to the frame looks like it will get in the way of any WDH from the video I looked at. Can someone measure how far back from the back of the hitch ball that slide mount is?

My Reese WDH brackets are mounted 29 inches from the front of the hitch ball. They are 4 inches wide and set 2 1/4 inches above the rail.

Here are photos of my Reese brackets on my 2007 3124KS. They are also about 29" from the ball. Note that they are forward of the slide out hinge and do not interfere in any way. And just FYI, there is 5" clearance from the top of the trailer frame to the bottom of the slide out. Even in the "up" (travel) position, my WDH brackets do not touch the slide out.

I think it might "just fit." Could I ask you to look at this installation video to see if you see any issues with this being so close to the slide out hinge?

http://blueox.com/show-4-video.aspx (3rd video down on that page)

In listening, they say to measure 29 inches from the center of the ball hitch to mount the center of the bracket that gets installed. It looks like the bracket extends another 2.5 inches from its center point back towards the TM hitch mount. One then needs to be able to turn the chain holder and it looks like it extends at least another inch beyond the mounting bracket. So, if I do my math right, I need at least 33 inches from the center of the ball back to the hitch bracket. So, how far back is the leading edge of the slide bracket from the center of the ball I guess is the operative question? Thanks so much for your help.

We have no problems with the slide brackets and the WDH spring bar brackets. When the slide is open it's brackets are no where near the spring bar brackets.
