Seems to me that Mike Laupp dealt with this a few years ago. Look for his posts on the topic. The Advanced Search tool will help.

Recycle guy, I have a small softspot toward the front of my tiolet. I see that yo replaced the flooring with hardie plank. How difficult was it to remove the plywood subfloor & what supports it when you install the new floor.

We too are thinking of replacing the carpet and vinyl in our '05 2619 in the near future .We are in the middle of researching the project and we are trying to decide if sheet vinyl is the way to go . We would use a template using builders paper first. The fact that we are in Texas has a lot to do with the product we will decide to use. I' m thinking that self stick might curl after the heat and humidity would get to it and we are also trying to keep the weight down. I guess my question is : has anyone used sheet vinyl, the thickness used and ease of application? Any and all info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The previous owner of our TM took out the carpet and used self sticking vinyl tiles. And yes they are curling up in places. I'm thinking he didn't get the floor clean and maybe didn't prime it. I want to replace with seamless, too.

New flooring
Hello all, I just finished putting in the Allure planks from Home Depot in my 3023. The vinyl is a pleasure to work with.
I left the bathroom alone for now. Flooring in there still looks great. If I need to replace it in the future, I'll just continue along where I left off.
I'm new to the Trailmanor, and this site has been very helpful.

Hi all!
We are in the planning stage of replacing the carpet and tile in our 2619, my question is : how do we remove the flat piece of molding that is under the refrigerator door? I have looked at all the posts about the removal of tile , carpet, and molding but no one addressed how to remove that particular piece.
Thank everyone for any and all answers in advance!

Removing toilet flange
I don't believe Tx Trlmnr is on the forum anymore - his last post was April 2015. But does anyone know how to remove the toilet flange from the piping below? I have the screws out, and the flange is spinning around, but I'm not sure how to get it off the flared pipe from below.
If I have to just break/cut the piece of 1/4" plywood between the flange and the TM floor, I will, because the laminate flooring planks I'll be able to cut a half circle from side by side planks and slide them in around the flange.
But if the flange can be removed, it sure would make things easier. I haven't tried to 'unscrew' the flared piece from the dump pipe - I didn't want to force anything if unscrewing wasn't really an option. But it appears in his photos that Tx Trlmnr did remove the flange from the flared pipe.
Any ideas?
