Default Bedroom Window Torque Operator

OK guys & gals,

I've been fixing things here and there on our TM, which has gone quite well thus far. However, I'm not sure where to proceed on this repair.

When we picked up our TM, the window knob was disconnected from the bedroom louvered-window. I ordered a new knob, but when I went to install it, I realized that it wasn't the knob that was the problem, it was the torque operator star-shaft that had broken.

I'm not real sure how to access the torque operator. I see that it is riveted to the window frame, and I'll have to drill it out.

How does one disassemble the window to access the torque operator for removal?

Secondly, anyone know the make/model of the torque operator? (Once I get it out this question will likely answer itself, and I can at least get measurements to start looking for replacements.

I don't know if different models were used, but my TM is a 2006 2720SL.

It looks similar to this, but I haven't gotten a good look at the bottom of it yet. I notice that the top of mine has 2 rivets in similar location as this.

Thanks for sharing! My search for 'torque operator' didn't bring any results, and I've been looking through window threads but must have overlooked it.

I think I've got a better idea now of how to get at the torque operator.

Is Hehr the manufacturer of our windows?

Yes.

You may find some useful info in the full Shattered Window thread. It is about the sliding side windows:
