Default Up State NY Wanna TM introduction

This is my second post, but have been reading the forum for over 3 months.
I can't thank all of you enough for all the great information. I have really enjoyed and appreciated the wealth of knowledgeable you have accumulated here!
I will be retiring next year and my DW and I plan to purchase a 3124KD. We will be traveling from November to April every year (for as long as we can). In our younger days we owned 2 Coleman PUs and enjoyed camping with our boys. We did 4 cross-country trips. We were in the Army for 28 years (most overseas), so missed many years on the camp trail.
We are going the TM route for all the obvious reasons: towability being the number one. We just can't justify a 5th wheel or motorhome. Drive a Ford F-150 and don't want anything bigger.
Again thanks to all of you for a great forum.

Hi Craig & Cath,

Welcome to the forum. Like you I read everything I could here to gain as much knowledge about TM's before buying one. Found our 2720 on this site as well. You won't regret your choice. DW and I have totally enjoyed our camping experiences for the past year or so.

Good luck in your search and keep us posted with your experience.

Thanks Tim. Look forward to many years meeting and sharing ideas with everyone here. We will join one of the local chapters once we start our journeys.

Craig and Cathy,

From one vet to another, welcome to the forum and soon to your new or NTU Trailmanor. I too have had a popup in my past, and I love my decision to move up to the TM. This weekend me and a friend were up at Grover Hot springs enjoying the great weather and area. While there we noticed a 2720 sitting at another camp site. The Trailmanors seem to pop up more and more. You will have fun with it and this forum has helped me a ton of times.

Evelyn,
Happy Memorial Day! Beautiful weather to remember our comrades by. Noticed your signature "still play with planes" . I flew helicopters for years but now only do model gliders.
We can't wait to get our TM next spring. First trip is to Oregon for a family reunion, 6000 mile round trip. That should break in the new TM.

Craig,

Happy Memorial day to you too and our fellow vets out there.
Your helicopters would have been cargo to the mighty C-5. I currently get to help those who actually turn the wrenches and get their hands dirty now a days.
As you've probably read on this site each rig is slightly different year to year. When I bought mine they had one already half way thru manufacture and if I had been wiser on options I may have asked for a few differences of my own. One would have been an extra 12 volt outlet at the front of the camper, currently I have only the one at the back near the bed. It's not hard to add the bells and whistles, but it would have been nice/easier to have the wiring already in place and connect right to it. Never did like to run wires.
Again Happy Memorial day to you and my fellow vets out there and those fellow TrailManor owners.

I understand helicopters are hard to pilot, less so with TM's!
Lot of info on this forum.
Welcome and have fun.

moaboy,
I see you're in Camp Hill, PA. I was born and raised there.
