Default Raising the sink level with the countertop?

I am not sure how the sink could be mounted flush with the counter above the fridge. In our 2006 and 2012 TM's, the sink is about 6-8 inches below the counter above the sink. That is one of my complaints about the TM. I am only 5' 4" and have a back ache after working at the sink.

I think he meant ...he is having TM built with the sink and cabinet for the sink built to the same height as the rest of the counter top...which also goes over the refrigerator.

This is a clever idea...and if I did this..I bet their would be room for a larger fresh water tank under there.

Of course not all TM models have the fresh water tank in that location.

I always thought the sink was mounted low to keep the faucet from hitting the top shell on foldup.

Good point. Maybe he will have a one of those folding faucets I have seen in some campers.

On our tent trailer the sink hardware was on a pivot. Just lower the unit when it is time to close up. Worked very well, but I never forgot to lower it either. I am 6'2" and washing dished in the low sink is quite an ordeal.

I had the same question in my mind. But if TrailManor came up with a way to have the sink on the same level as the refer countertop, that would not only make it easier on our back, but allow more working room under the sink. On my 2720SD the hot water tank, the 20 gallon fresh water tank and water pump take up so much room that working on any of these components under the sink makes it very difficult. I take off the center support and doors each time I do but that only helps a little.

I'm not sure what model year they changed the sink, but Trail Manor now uses a folding faucet and mounts the sink section of the counter flush with the counter above the fridge.

This is the same folding faucet that Chalet uses in their A-Frame.

Do you have a photo, from any source? This does not show up on the TrailManor website. I would love to see it.
