a) I need to move in my back yard which is sandy soil and a very slight incline.
b) Your TV is in Toledo and I am in Orlando.
c) is that a V211 "Silver Tongue" ?

You will find that there are very few machines that will move your TM through these conditions.

I drive through Orlando on my way to Avon Park for the winter

Yes it is!

Needing to do something again. Lots of JDs on CL but most are small ones. Biggest issue is moving in sandy back yard, TV has no problem but want something smaller (not much room). Only need to move on level ground, no inclines.

Trailer Valet has mixed reviews particularly with heavier loads. Nice idea but seems only good on pavement. Any new suggestions ?

Not sure there is a good answer since tongue weight is so high

The best website I have seen for the one like purpleline is this one:

http://bestcaravanmovers.com/

Darn...most of the reviews and details are no longer there but at least some are. Wonder what happened.

I and a few other members here have this system and I for one love having it. It makes parking my TM so much easier on my driveway. The motors butt up against the wheels when you engage the system, so in reality the trailer tires move the trailer around.
I ended up contacting a gentleman at PL on all my questions; which I've listed below. Don't know that he still works with the company, but I am sure someone can assist with your questions on the system. I've also posted pictures in an album on the forum. The link gets you to a video on the company sight. The system is pricey, but for me has been worth the money spent.

A tractor large enough to handle 460lbs would be as big as your TV and very cost prohibitive. If you have or want a smaller tractor, maybe you could engineer a way to attach something like http://www.amazon.com/Maxxtow-Towing...=trailer+dolly to it.

That dolly has been tried, it is not strong enough for any kind or compressive load, handle folds right up. Not saying is a bad idea just might as well use the trailer jack/wheel to take part of the load.

Padgett-Not sure this may help (and not particularly spendy) for your sandy situation but for some situations where there isn't much slope, we utilize a 2K# Dutton-Lainson winch (with worm gear, cable, tree protection strap vs. pounding in a temporary steel fence post, inserted into the 2" receiver/bike rack on rear of TM, a heavy duty 1/2" drive Milwaukee drill w/ 5/8" socket on the business end, have my Spouse steer the front end to back into some tight places).

Piloting the TM forward on the way out of the tight storage space, we place the winch in the TV receiver hitch to gingerly reel in-somewhat effortlessly, the big one. naturally-chocks, breakaway brake cable and/or safety line around the original tree at the ready). Dave
