Default Tired of too many woodgrain colors?

Our 1991 TM had medium dark oak cabinet doors, much lighter (almost blonde) paneling on cabinet fronts and bathroom walls, and corner moulding strips in a reddish oak color YIKES!! Notice I said HAD, because I bought "Polyshades" polyurethane in "Olde Maple" color (satin finish), lightly sanded all the cabinet fronts and bathroom walls, wiped them down with a rag, and then brushed on the colored polyurethane. You need a really good nylon brush with nice feathered bristles (angled tip works best) and you must work quickly too avoid drag marks. Take the cabinet doors off if you have trouble working around the hinges. NOW the cabinet fronts match the doors reasonably well. Our trailer looks SOOOO much better. I did not try to cover the plastic corner and edge pieces, but the new color makes them blend better. I bought the "Polyshades" at Home Depot, but have seen it other places. I don't know if all TM's have this goofy color combination in the cabinetry, but have seen pictures where I could tell that at least some do. This is a reasonably good solution if it bugs you. Took me about 4 hours to complete. Once this has set for a week or two I plan to go back over everything with a clear satin finish polyurethane which should prevent scratches. And I will also give the cabinet doors a coat of the clear finish.
