Default 2009 2720 SL Front Sofa

Just came back from a week long trip to the beach. We found ourselves spending an extreme amount of time sitting on the front soda due to extreme heat and humidity and violent thunderstorms. Does anyone else find the sofa uncomfortable and wind up with back pain? If so did you do any mods to the sofa?

Yesterday was interesting. At 2pm I had two different thermometers reading 102F in the back yard. At 6 pm it was 76. Deluge in middle.

Perfect for testing my AC mods to run with a small generator. Window in upper right is peak starting amps for the Coleman Mach III 13,500 in my '06. Was kinda ot inside because in bright sun and had to wait a few minutes after each run to minimize strain on AC.

ps mostly I lie on the sofa with the back pad on the shelf for reading. Have a folding/reclining chair for TV/Computer.

Sometimes I pull out the seat a bit more, which alters the angle of the back. This only works when we don't need the tables.

There was a thread a while back about adding some stops/shims to the back and bottom parts of the sofa, with the desire to (a) improve the angle(s), and (b) improve the flatness when the sofa was placed into bed-mode. That thread may offer some more advice.
