Default RV superbag

Does anyone have experience with this bedding system?
Any opinions to share?

Thanks,
Dennis

Default RV Superbag

Just saw your post today. We bought an RV Superbag when we bought our TM in 2014, so this is our eighth year using it. We love it as there is no making of the bed after the sheets are in the bag which we usually do in the house where there is plenty of room. It has held up just fine, and the halves can be washed separately in our home front load washing machine. We did pop for the expensive sheets and are glad we did as they are quite soft compared to ones we had in an A-frame we had that was a different brand, but similar to the Superbag. The Summer side keeps us toasty most of the time, and we have camped in most conditions her in Colorado from March through November. Hardly ever have used the Winter side.

Hope this helps with your decision, and happy camping!

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan:

Thanks for your reply. Can the TM be closed with the bedding on the bed?

Default RV Superbag

I'm pretty sure it will close if all you have is the Superbag on the existing bed. We also have a 2" latex foam mattress topper we use in addition to the existing bed. As a result, we move them both to our couch in the slide when traveling. Just a couple of minutes moving them when setting up or down. Easiest to do with the bathroom folded down. (Too much information!)

As I said though, it should close if all you have under it is the original bed in the TM.

We got this one from Sportsmen Warehouse which is similar (and was cheaper when we bought it)

https://www.sportsmans.com/camping-g...x-70/p/1122935

It also has a warm and an even warmer side. It’s been too warm to use during the summer, but I think I’ll bring it with us when we go to Joshua Tree in November and one of the SoCal beaches in February. I was trying to figure out how to sew Velcro on some sheets to use inside, so I didn’t have to wash each half (they are really bulky and didn’t wash well in my front loader last time), but it seemed like a big pain, so I haven’t done it yet.
