Default Please look at the pic that I attached,

and you can see that the drill I mentioned is a simple bottom of the line drill.
It has torque settings to control the amount of turning power applied to screws.

It is quiet in operation.

All the same, a manual hand crank is included with the Valet, and I am finding
that useful because it is faster than the original jack when cranking.

Happy cranking! Sorry, I mean happy camping!

Oh, I do have a Dewalt 20v impact drill that I have used for changing tires,
and I would not use that in a campground at any time. So, I agree!

I'm glad we finally got that settled. I looked at the pic earlier, and not being a DeWalt guy, couldn't be sure of what the tool was. The big black "thing" in the chuck confused me, I guess. You are lucky to have both tools right at hand.

Now I gotta get a new battery for my old drill, so that I can have both tools, too.

A 20 v Dewalt drill and an impact driver are different animals. An ordinary drill will make no more noise than an electric tongue jack.

Default Right, and I see where I started the confusion,

as I first mentioned using the impact drill to remove the existing jack.

Later I mentioned using my Dewalt 20v drill, but I did not clarify that
I was using an ordinary drill, so some folks thought I was still using the
impact drill for the lifting. I guess that is a "my bad".

I have an excuse, I'm senior.

I'm using the ordinary drill with the 6.0ah battery.
