Default 30A fuse as battery cutout switch -

Having had a couple of typical popup campers that had battery cutout switches
mounted externally next to the battery, I was baffled about why I could not
find a battery cutout switch on my 2012 2720.

I used to enjoy turning off the popup's cutout switch, as I felt confident about
the battery keeping its charge from any electrical parasites.

The batwing antenna light stays on whether on shore power or battery power.
The only way I could turn it off was to disconnect from shore power, and remove
the 30A fuse mounted outside of the 12v battery.

Apparently, that fuse can be used as a battery cutout switch. A 30A fuse is
shown in the wiring diagram, and it appears to be a factory install.

Moving forward, I'll continue to review posts and brainstorm about copying
somebody's already done mod for this situation. My WFCO is a 2 stage,
and it does not appear to be overcharging or warming up the battery when
connected.

EDITED to clarify that my mention of "fuse" is not technically correct.
The rectangular device of 30 amps is actually a circuit breaker Buss 22130-000
which supposedly resets automatically. And, I'll stop there and crawl back
into my cave.

Happy Camping!
