Default running lights stopped working

I have owned a 2005 2720 SL for four years. I've had fuses on the TV go out before, resulting in the running lights or turn signals not working. But now the fuses all look to be okay ( new TV) but my running lights aren't working at night. Does anyone know: if one of the many yellow running lights has a bad bulb, if that effects the entire circuit?

My obvious question is whether you have checked the 7way plug at the TV? Mine comes loose and does not make a good connection from time to time and I have no running lights. You may need a test light or volt meter and check each individual contact inside the socket and the continuity of the trailer plug as well.

The running lights on the TM are powered directly form the tow vehicle, so the fuses in the TM are unrelated to their failure. If the running lights in the car still work, it is likely not a fuse problem in the tow vehicle, either.

The light bulbs are all wired in parallel, so if one running light bulb fails, it has no effect on the other running light bulbs. This is not like an old-fashioned Christmas tree string.

If the running lights used to work, and have now failed, CycleGuy probably has the right answer - the Bargman connector is not making good contact. It is easy to take a small screwdriver and bend the contacts so that they connect more surely.

Has the running lights on the TM ever worked with the NEW TV? Did the running lights on the TM work with the old TV the last time you had it hooked up?

Can you use a volt meter or test light to test the 7 pin connection on the TV?

see link for 7 pin wiring. http://www.hopkinstowingsolutions.co...ng-guides.html

"if one of the many yellow running lights has a bad bulb, if that effects the entire circuit?" They are not wired like Christmas tree lights. One bulb should not effect the others.
