I have dual propane tanks as well. Apparently there are differences in tongue configuration. Before you drop money on a battery, I suggest you take some cardboard and build a mock battery box. Then you’ll know if it works or not.

Dimensions of my box with lid on:
LENGTH: 22 1/4"
WIDTH: 8 1/2"
HEIGHT: 12 3/4"

Dimensions of Base Only:
LENGTH: 21 1/2"
WIDTH: 7 11/16" This was very close to the limit on mine.
HEIGHT: 12 1/2"
