Windows & Screens

We have had our 2004 2619 for one month now. We have put about
2,600 miles on it so far. I think it is great, but I have found a gripe. My wife can't stand dirty windows, so after 2,600 miles they were in need
of cleaning, She wasn't happy that on the sliding windows there is a 3 inch strip that cannot be wiped because of the screens. Is there a trick, does the slider window come out for cleaning ? Is there a reason that the screens can't be made removeable (without drilling out the rivets and removing 20 screws) So far this is our only gripe, so if we have to live with it, so be it !

Someone ... sorry, don't remember who it was ... addressed this issue quite some time back. Their trick was to wrap a spatula with a Windex saturated paper towel or one of the prepackaged window cleaning cloths. This can then be inserted between the window and the screen to clean that overlapped section.
