Default What is screw size to mount burner element?

My propane range has 3 burners in my 2720, and each burner disc has a small screw
that holds the disc to a mounting bracket on the bottom.

Well, one of those mounting screws came loose at some time, fell out, and is lost.
So, I need to know the size of that screw to buy a new one. It is very small.

Has anybody been there, and done that?

I could remove a neighbor element mounting screw, and take it to the hardware store,
but I just replaced the regulator and propane tank hoses and had the horizontal tanks filled.
Sounds easy, but took significant work and I am hoping to lighten up my spring workload.

Can you tell us what brand of range you have? Is it a range with oven or just the top? When I got my rig, I went thru and took pics of any appliance/part tag that I could find. This make finding a parts manual much easier.
If I can suggest, add what year of TM you have in your signature area, that makes it easier to get info to you. A picture of what your talking about helps too.

Thought I had this manual, but not knowing what model you have, not sure it will help you.

Default My TM is a 2012 with oven and 3 burner range,

and I found a screw after searching through my junk boxes. It is a small SAE thread,
as I have metric screw kits that would not fit.

Somebody apparently tried to work on it before, as the mount bracket was also not at the proper
angles to apply tension for a snug fit. All is snug and working fine now, and I am happy
with it because the lite/spark feature is cool, and with the oven it has a homey look benefit.

Some of the unique features of the TM do require unique fixes. Prima uniqueness!

Happy camping!
