Default Dexter axle

I'm having trouble finding the # of my dexter axle on our '05 2619, I found the dexter paper underneath but the number is unreadable due to black paint that was sprayed over it. Only a small portion at the bottom of the paper is readable and it shows : order # 232068-1 with 15043 . Have looked extensively and cannot find / read the rest of the label or find info on the dexter site. Can anyone help me where to look next, I've looked at the title but it is not listed there either. We are redoing bearings ,seals and possibly brake shoes and this info would be helpful
Thanks for all help and information

Most likely it is a #10 Dexter axle. Does it have 5 bolt wheels and 10"x 2 1/4" brakes ?

campernurse2012,

As Padget said, you probably have a #10 Dexter 3500lb axle on your 2005 TM2619. Here is the service manual: http://www.dexteraxle.com/i/u/614960...ice_Manual.pdf

Forget about the painted over paper on the axle. The axle's nine digit serial number should be permanently stamped into the axle near the center on the rear side of the axle (See pg. 88 in the service manual).

In addition to the serial number, there should be more information about your axle that is also permanently stamped into the axle (no paper). For an example of this on my 2007 TM 2619 see #6 post on this thread:http://www.trailmanorowners.com/foru...ad.php?t=15334 This information is stamped in a different location on the axle than the serial number. Crawl under there and look for it.

Hope this helps.

OK I "got out and got under" and cound the Dexter Axle Serial number stampped in one side and a paper tag showing the TrailManor order. Definately a 10H. Now what does "HF=70.60 OB=64.00 SA 22DT" and "DEX# 28519" mean. Any ideas ?
