Default Table leaf for a 2720

Last week I became the proud owner of a 2006 2720, my second TM. I spent a couple of days cleaning, etc., and discovered that the leaf for the table is missing. The PO said that he never had one. I spoke with the local dealer (yes, I have a local TM dealer) and they seemed to think that I could not order a replacement. I can build something that will work but would prefer an actual replacement part, even if it doesn't match. Any suggestions?.......thanks.

I found mine in the storage compartment under the sofa.

I would think you could build one pretty easily. I have two extension leafs on mine. Take measurements and keep in mind there needs to be a tab each side, catty corner, to each other to slide under the table top. I don't have my TM at home during camping season but I believe it has a router beveled edge.

I have the extension for the table to make this into a bed, but I wanted a short extension of about 6 inches to add to the existing table and I found that the thickness of the table is not standard to the wood I have available. I would have to plane a piece of pine down from 3/4" or something to get the same thickness for the insert I want to make. Haven't done it yet, but still thinking it thru. Putting the tabs etc on the edge to drop into the existing table would be no problem once I find the right wood source. Just an fyi on the thickness of the table that I have.

Interesting. I did not consider the thickness of the table was different than standard plywood with veneer topper.

Ordering ones from the factory may be an issue if they are no longer making them with that laminate. But you will need the dealer place the order, since TM no longer sells directly to the owners. We went to order curtains and they were no longer making curtains that were our colors.

We have a 2007 2720SL. It has the 2 wall attached tables. Inside one, there is what looks to be a leaf for the table, but we cant figure out how to attach it. Any help would be appreciated

The leaf-able table is split in the middle, while the other is not. Set up the leaf-able table, grasp the end that it farthest from the wall, and pull it toward the opposite wall. The two halves will come apart at the split, and you drop the leaf into the gap.

When you say the leaf-looking piece is stored INSIDE the table, I'm not sure what that means. The leaf-piece is normally stored behind the table itself when the table is down in the storage position.

OMG! Thank you for your help Bill! We bought this in November and have not had a chance to camp in it yet, but we are finding out so many interesting things about the Trailmanor, thanks to people willing to impart their wisdom to us Trailmanor newbies! Im thinking this will be our favorite trailer yet!
