I found on amazon the light fixture that is the same as all the other 1 light fixtures in the camper, but it has 2 lights,. The switch has 3 positions (off, one light, both lights) I installed a very dim light in light one and bright in light 2.

I pick up a few packs of glow bracelets from Dollar Tree - 4 bracelets in a pack, for $1 per pack. Snap one of those, hang it in the bathroom, or wherever else you need dim light, and toss them in the morning. No need to remember to turn something off, which is what I would fail to do. You can buy the color you want based on how bright they are (for instance, the blue don't emit as much light as the yellow).

Got the night light from Command Electronics installed. I cut a piece of wood to angle the light outwards (maybe 45 degrees?) so that it shines directly on the target area of the toilet.

Bought a push button switch from Amazon that also dimly illuminates when switched on. Seems like it will work nicely. The red one is definitely not bright enough to destroy night vision. I also got the white one to try, and it is FAR brighter. Was worried it might be too bright, even perhaps from causing light to leak into the back bed area. Works great!

Ah man! I'd feel like I was back on the ship if I had that red light anywhere in my TM.... berthing areas are only lit with red lights - doesn't require any vision adjustment going from red light to outside of berthing where there are bright white lights, so very easy on the eyes, yet you can see everything quite clearly. You learn to sleep with banging, clanging, rocking, rolling, etc. so the red lights are the least of the adjustments when trying to sleep on a ship.

I frequently go to star gazing parties where they insist on red light only. The next one is in August before the eclipse. I'll at least be bringing some red flashlights, if I don't get time to wire red LEDs into the Trailmanor. I got a roll of 5000 red LEDs for about $15 a while back, they just need current limiting resistors (I think 470 ohms) in series to work at 12 volts.

Well, the night light performed fabulously on its first camping trip. The precise aiming into the toilet is excellent for night-time potty runs, and completely prevented the need for any auxiliary lighting.

Unfortunately, however, I discovered that, when folding the bathroom walls, the top of the rear wall hits the light. ARGH! We're talking about maybe 3/4" -
1" of interference. So I think I am going to remove the screws holding it to the bathroom sink counter wall, and put a magnet there instead. I'll just have to pull it off and let it hang by the wires before folding up and while traveling, and if for some reason I forget, the folding wall will just slide it out of the way.

I'm not sure I understand your question? Are you wanting to illuminate the rear of the camper? Are you looking to be able to remove and reinstall a bike that's mounted on the back of your trailer? Or illuminate/power a bike that's mounted on the back of the trailer?

Yeah, this one confused me too!

FWIW, we use small "Walmart" votive-type candles as night lights. Serves two functions, keeps a small light, and provides a little warmth on those chilly nights.

Also, if they are scented, add one more nice layer to the potty.
