Default Help help! Visitors in 45 mins, no water pressure

Hi!

Probably a simple fix.

I am hooked to electric

NOT hooked to city water.

Filled up my fresh water tank this am.

Started running the pump, but I have NO water pressure

Is there something else I have to do?

I let the pump run for about 3-4 mins

Also, I had the plug out of the hot water tank,
But I have that back in now.

Anything else to check? And valve to flip on or off, something easy?

Ok thank you!

Sounds like a bad water pump to me. Have you tried opening all the valves? (Hot and Cold in both sinks and tub) Sometimes an air bubble can cause back pressure.

Are you SURE there is water in the on board tank?

Yes defe water in there.

Filled up the input hole untill it spilled out.

My meter led meters say 3/4 full

I will open the valves on everything

I have the drains closed outside.

Will open hot and cold inside full and see if that helps.

Pump will shut off when you close the faucets and the lines are pressurized. Any time you open a faucet the pump will run until the faucet is closed and the lines are pressurized.

Also, little to no water will come out of the faucet until the hot water heater is full. Thus, always good to do that at home if you won't have water hookups, otherwise your first 6 gallons of fresh water simply go right into the water heater.

Once the water heater is full, the system can be pressurized, and you'll get good flow out of any faucet. All the outside drains need to be closed -- they're only for draining, and pressure cannot built up if they are open.
