Default Replacement LED taillights

We have a 2001 3124ks that we are preparing to replace the old Bargman 92 incandescent tail lights with the new Bargman led 84s. The ones in Trailmanor's online catalog are not what TM is using now but they haven't changed the picture. The ones they are using have two red lens and no back-up light. DH has ordered the led ones with one red lens and one red with white center lens. We found them cheaper than they were available from TM, at CARID.

We will have to add a separate license light but that should be no problem.

I am also considering replacing some of the interior lights with leds.

I will try to get pictures for the forum.

I put those on our old 3326, and then promptly sold it!

Liked them much better than the incandescent.

Default Follow-up

We got the lights Monday. It's been very rainy here this summer so we thought we'd have to wait to put them on but we had a spell dry Tuesday morning so we went for it. We took off the old Bargman lights and cleaned off the old caulk and dirt with a combination of simple green, mineral spirits,a plastic putty knife and elbow grease. The new lights cover all the old holes. We tried to use the wire clips that were on them but they were too bulky so we soldered the wires instead. We still needed to cut a larger hole behind the drivers side light to get the light to lay flush to the camper wall. And we reused the license tag holder and added a separate light for the tag. I think it looks much better and is definitely brighter. Next is the clearance lights and maybe some of the inside lights. Here's a link to some photos;

I didn't get any pictures of the soldering or caulking, sorry.

Terrific job! Folks can see your lights much better in the daylight with LED's. I'm saving my lunch money for new ones for my 3214KS.

Very nice job, foxhaven0!
I will look in to changing out the lamps (bulbs) on mine. Prolly still pretty costly, but it'd sure look good.
