Default Not cooling on 12v? - Check Fridge Fan Duct

I am prepping our trailer for a trip today and when I had the upper fridge vent hatch off, I noticed a problem with the "loose end" of the plastic "dryer hose" that connects to the fridge fan (at the other end). It was sitting flush against the piece of pressboard that divides the space over the fridge from the space behind the fridge. This would really restrict the flow into the hose and therefore greatly reduce its effectiveness. It was simple to just push it down so now the hole end of the hose is perpendicular to the ground and not touching anything.

I don't know if it's always been like this and I haven't noticed it, or if it just jumped up there when we hit a bump in the road. I'm either going to add this to my check list, or figure a way to secure it in the proper place.

But, might be something to check, if your fridge is not cooling well on 12v when the camper is closed down.
