Brakes and Bearings

I read a posting from Aug. 12, 2001 under the tires topic that gave a web site for Dexter Axle Company. This site is great for those who are looking for part numbers for brake parts and bearings/seals. I have a 1990 M23. Does anyone know if Trailmanor used Dexter Axles on this year of Trailmanor?

My 1989 M28 has 2 Reliable Axles. Look on the left (drivers) side. Mine had a tag on the straight part of the axle approx 1/4 to 1/3 in from the wheel.  Their web site is http://www.reliabletool.com/. I was able to purchase the bearings and seals from my local dealer. I hope this helps. It is nice to see there are others with older Trailmanors.

My 01, 2619 has Dexter axles.

I was fortunate as I recently worked a trade show for one of our truck jobbers here in Portland, and got to talk with the Dexter axle rep who gave me a copy of the Dexter Axle, Operation Maintenance Service Manual for 600 to 8,000 lb axles & related Components. I now keep that with my TM owners manual. Lot of good info in there.

Thanks for the info. I looked on my axle, forward left side, and found the placard from Reliable Tool. Went to there web page and found that they also had parts and numbers. Their page was not as informative as Dexters, but was still a little useful.
