Default Curtain tape

Any idea how much the curtain tape costs? Can I buy it anywhere besides Trailmanor?

Several places have it. I have seen it at Camping World:

Dyers rv has it and I also just found something similar on Ebay...but the item on Ebay looked too thick to sew.

Best price seems to be a Dyers:

Default curtain tape

That is not the same as mine. Mine has 1 raised piece of plastic that glides throught the middle of the track. Looks like a capital T. I hope they didn't stop making it.

Default Includes new track

If you look at the curtain system from Camping World, it also includes the track to replace the old one that holds the "T" shaped glides that you have now. So repairing the curtains would include replacing the tape on the actual curtain material, but also removing the old track from the trailer and putting on the new one that would fit the new glides. It says it comes with mounting screws to install. I also have one curtain that needs to have the glides replaced, so I wonder how hard it would be to put on new tracks as well. Has anyone out there done this before? I have not checked into replacement tape from TrailManor, so does anyone know how much that would be? It may be worth it if you don't have to replace the tracks, depending on how hard that would be.

Default curtain tape

I called Adam at Trailmanor about the older curtain tape. He knew exactly what I needed. I wanted enough to redo all my curtains. I ordered 18 yards and it cost under $24.00. I think it will be alot easier than changing out the track.

Default New curtains or just new tape?

That sounds like what I would be interested in, too. I'll have to give them a call. BTW, when you redo your curtains, are you going to make new ones and attach the tape? Or are you just going to take the broken tape off the old curtains and sew the new tape on? Our curtains aren't in terrible shape but are faded. I'm a little afraid to wash them, since I've read about tearing and shrinking from washing on this site. As busy as I am with my bunch, I don't know if I want to embark on a project like making curtains, unless it could be easily (and quickly!) done!

Default curtain tape

I wouldn't wash them unless you have too. I just got my Trailmanor a few months ago. All of the curtains have shrunk. They are stretched to the limit on the tracks. So, unfortunately I have to have all new curtains. I think I read another post that said to use upholstry cleaner instead of washing?

Wash them again, and hang them while still wet? They might stretch back into shape. Or they might not, but it's easy to try.

Default curtain tape

I didn't even bother washing them. Besides being shrunk so small, they are faded and have bleach spots on them. I just want new ones.

Are you making the new curtains yourself or are you buying them?
