Curtain Glide Tape

I am ready to finish my privacy curtain mod and need to figure out how to attach the glide tape to the curtain material? My tape is about one inch wide with the plastic "u" track every couple inches... Has anyone done this? Is there a trick? Is there someone in town (dry cleaner, tailor, etc.) that can do this? Any help would be appreciated.
