Just purchased a 2005 trailmanor 2619 from Custom RV. Custom RV put brand new 2020 graphics from the 2518 curtains out of a later model. Custom RV also added a an LG dual inverter AC unit under the dinette. I installed new flooring backsplash a 2000 watt inverter with 3-stage charger and black cabinet hardware. I also installed 2 12V us battery gc12 deep-cycle 155ah golf cart batteries (310 total ah). Remove the fluorescent and added LED lights. Made a hanging TV mount for the bathroom wall. I want to upgrade my factory pwm solar controller with a mppt and more panels.

Wow, that looks nice! From the pictures it's hard to believe yours is only a couple of years newer than ours.

What’s this LG dual inverter AC unit?

It's an LG energy efficient AC unit that has a variable-speed compressor it pulls about 600 watts on the high. See attached photo.

Thank you it's a work in progress but it's coming along quite nicely. I was able to get the floor and the backsplash done in about 4 days. I use the vinyl plank lock together flooring from home Depot or Lowe's. Only took about two boxes.

You've done a lot of nice work!
I see you still have some of the original lighting. I replaced some of my lights with some Koree 12V LED lights: https://www.amazon.com/Kohree-Ceilin...1545114&sr=8-3 The switch had 1 off and 2 on positions, but the 2 on positions were wired to work the same way. So, I wired in a resistor for one of the positions so now we have a "night" light. My only issue is glare. A lot of new LED lighting uses no diffuser so they can be glarey. I don't have a good solution for that issue yet.

How about spreading a piece of Kleenex inside the dome? Or bed sheet material, or a dryer softener sheet? I don't think the LEDs get hot enough to singe them, though you might want to check.

I've even thought of cutting up some old fluorescent diffuser material. That stuff is hard to work with because it is very brittle, but it may be a good option to try.

Now here's something interesting that would make his lights look really neat:
https://www.amazon.com/stores/Octo+L...1?ref_=ast_bln They'd have to be cut to size though, I don't know if or how that would work.

Maybe some window sunscreen might work for the glare Last edited by cjminear; 06-08-2020 at 04:29 PM. |
